To perform its services, the company makes use of three storage areas represented by a battery of silos with a total storage capacity of about 35,000 tons of grain and two flat warehouses on a total area of 5,100 square meters, with a storage capacity of about 24,000 tons of pulp.

UNLOADING:
To carry out the unloading of raw materials from ships the company has a state-of-the-art equipment, capable of moving goods quickly and safely.
STOCKING:
The company has equipment that allows to manage all stages of the process with maximum efficiency, from storage to specific weight control, passing through temperature and humidity checks. These are essential steps to guarantee the organoleptic qualities of the product. The company is also licensed by the CCPB to introduce products of organic origin. The terminal is a D.D.P. No. 7040/C and guarantees the duties on foreign goods at customs.
SHIPMENT:
The loading and unloading operations carried out by the company are efficient and fast, to ensure that the organoleptic qualities of the products are maintained.
The company’s equipment is used to ensure the proper conduct of unloading, storage and shipping.
UNLOADING:
For the unloading of raw materials from ships, the company has two Reggiane model mobile suction towers with an hourly capacity of about 400tonn/h, two suction compressors, a Gottwald crane with a 14-cubic-meter bucket and related hopper connected to the existing equipment in 2015. Thanks to this crane, the company is able to “unload” loads directly from the hold to the trucks underneath or use the new plant connected to the hopper that transports the goods into the silo body via mechanical conveyors and bucket elevators. For the unloading of forest products, the company is equipped with a pneumatic slinger with a capacity of 40.00 tons, which connected to the gottwald crane makes it possible to achieve excellent unloading yields.
SHIPMENT:
The silos are equipped to implement the redelivery of raw materials by natural fall through the use of shutters operated by employees, directly on the vehicles.
The company has held ISO 9001 certification since 2014 and ISO 45001 certification and has achieved certification for the storage and handling of organic products with the CCPB certifying body.
The port of Livorno faces the Upper Tyrrhenian Sea, inthe northwestern part of Tuscany. Thanks to its sheltered location is well protected from the south and west quadrant winds.
The port, classified as a core within the Trans-European Transport Networks (TEN-T) is a multipurpose port of call, i.e., equipped with infrastructure and means to accommodate any type of ship and to handle any commodity category and any type of traffic (LO-LO, RO-RO rolling stock, liquid and solid bulk, new cars, cruises, ferries, forest products, machinery, etc.). The port’s infrastructural endowment allows connection to the main national road and rail arteries and to the airport areas of Pisa and Florence. Thanks to its economically thriving large hinterland formed mainly by Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria and Marche, the Port of Livorno moves a high amount of goods.
